RESUMEN
Breve recorrido por la labor del Servicio Nacional de Reumatología desde la época que fue fundada por el profesor Manuel Lomba Gracia en el Hospital Docente Clínico Quirúrgico 10 de Octubre, hasta llegar a alcanzar, 43 años después, la categoría de Centro de Reumatología por los méritos logrados en la sistematicidad de su labor diaria con los enfermos reumáticos.

ABSTRACT
Brief tour of the work of the National Rheumatology Service since the time that was founded by Professor Manuel Lomba Garcia in the Clinical Teaching Hospital Surgical 10 of October, until reaching, 43 years later, the category of Rheumatology Center by the merits achieved in the systematic of their daily work with the rheumatic patients.
